Kairos book launch: ‘It’s About Time’

We are delighted to announce that one of the founding members of Kairos Britain, Warren Bardsley, has recently launched his new book, ‘It’s About Time: The (unfinished) Story of Kairos Britain’

Warren has a rich history of working for peace and justice in Palestine, including 3 months as an ecumenical accompanier in East Jerusalem, and is a retired Methodist minister with experience in serving Churches both here in the UK and abroad.

The book tells the inspiring story of the emergence of the Kairos movement in Britain, following the challenge from Palestinian Christians to respond to their suffering and the launch of Kairos Palestine in 2009.

Dr Mark Braverman says the following in his foreword to the book:

“Warren has written an important book… the reasons he gives for the urgency of Kairos speak directly to us today – those of us who are committed to this movement and those who are joining every day, as the plight of Palestinians becomes more apparent and the damage to Israeli society and to the future of its citizens becomes painfully clear…”

It’s About Time is published by Church in the Market Place publications, and costs £8.50, with all proceeds going to the continuing work of Kairos Britain. We would encourage you to buy several copies (20 as a guide) and sell them within your church and community. If you are unable to do this, then we will send individual copies, but please consider the cost of postage and order on behalf of others if you can.
